The Sudden and Urgent Needs (SUN) Grant program is designed to offer quick and flexible support for groups responding to temporary, critical situations that require an immediate response. The program prioritizes proposals that align with its goals, demonstrate a significant impact on addressing inequities or needs in the community, showcase the applicant's capacity to lead the proposed work, involve power building/sharing with those most affected by the issue, and present a sensible budget for the planned activities and outcomes. The SUN grant can provide funding of up to $10,000 for qualifying projects.
