Providing charitable investing and local grants so people and nonprofits can make a lasting and positive impact on our community
The HealthFirst grant program is designed to support projects within Clinton County that align with its objectives of improving community health and wellness. The grant prioritizes the funding of innovative and unique projects that address unmet needs within the community, especially those that aim to improve health equity and outcomes for underserved communities. High priority is given to proposals introducing new approaches or pilot programs, focusing on systemic changes, and promoting collaborations that enhance service provision. Conversely, lower priority is assigned to construction-related projects and those that solely fulfill fundamental educational, health, and safety functions of government bodies and schools. Through these grants, HealthFirst encourages initiatives that make a tangible difference in community health through education, innovative care delivery, and the promotion of wellness activities.
