The mission of the organization is to support horticulture and horticultural-related projects and those groups and individuals that are involved or directly related.
The Full-Ride Scholarship offered by the Colorado Garden Foundation is designed to cover all educational expenses for a Colorado resident freshman entering a publicly funded Colorado college or university. This comprehensive support package includes tuition, fees, room and board, all required books for the duration of four years, and provides a laptop and printer at the beginning of their freshman year. The scholarship is targeted toward students pursuing degrees in fields related to agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, landscape architecture, botany, plant science, and environmental horticulture, among others. The goal is to support the education of individuals who are committed to advancing knowledge and practices in these crucial areas of study.
