The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin focuses on supporting Central Wisconsin communities by enhancing their quality of life through various forms of financial assistance, including scholarships for education.
The Major Projects cycle by the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin aims to support the initiation and development of a community project that will significantly impact Portage and/or Waushara counties. Each year, this cycle provides funding for up to one project, with grants ranging from $25,000 to $50,000. The focus areas for these projects include Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Helping People, and Wellness. Projects not selected for Major Projects funding are encouraged to apply for the CFCWI Spring Community Grants, which can fund up to $25,000.
