    Overview

Seeding Solutions is a competitive annual grant program initiated in 2017 by FFAR. It awards up to 10 grants ranging from $300,000 to $1 million for bold research that addresses any of FFAR's six Challenge Areas or bridges gaps between them. The program encourages novel partnerships and innovative projects focused on food supply and agroecosystem management issues. Matching funds from non-federal partners are required for grant eligibility. This grant program emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaborations, aiming to extend the impact of research beyond its immediate scope by involving stakeholders directly in the research process.
