The Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for families and communities through supporting innovative projects and successful ongoing programs. It focuses on engaging in Jewish life, supporting arts and culture, and strengthening families and society.
The Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications but is open to projects aligned with its funding priorities through collaboration. They emphasize long-term impact, encouraging organizational sustainability, and systems-building. Their grants support general operating and project costs, favoring innovative approaches and new initiatives. While they mainly focus on projects that enhance Jewish life and culture, engage families and communities, and support arts and culture, they do not usually fund capital and endowment grants, except at the Trustees’ discretion.
