The Idaho Forest Products Commission aims to educate Idaho's youth about the state's forests, focusing on Idaho's trees, forests, and forest-related industries through educational grants.
The Forest Education Grants are designed to support educators and those working with Idaho's youth in learning about Idaho’s forests. These grants, up to $250, aim to facilitate projects that engage youth directly with forests, forest workers, or forestry-related facilities such as sawmills or lumberyards. Special emphasis is placed on projects that offer hands-on, experiential learning opportunities in natural settings or industry environments. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with a yearly deadline of March 15 for projects running from April 1 to March 31.
