The Atlantic Salmon Habitat Restoration Partnership Grants aim to support the recovery of the Gulf of Maine Distinct Population Segment of Atlantic salmon. The grant prioritizes proposals that are consistent with actions identified in key recovery and action plans for Atlantic salmon, improve fish passage and connectivity to spawning and rearing habitats, and employ proven restoration techniques with a focus on barrier removal. Eligible activities under this grant include studies, planning, engineering design, implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Funding ranges from $100,000 to $700,000 over three years, targeting proposals that align with program priorities.
