Nordstrom is committed to supporting the communities it serves across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, by donating millions of dollars each year to deserving nonprofits. This support is mainly through cash grants, partnering with local and national organizations for giving programs, and encouraging employees’ volunteerism and matching their personal contributions.
The Nordstrom Grant program aims to support causes that provide basic needs to youth and their families, with more than $2 million in Community Grants awarded annually throughout the U.S. and Canada. Its key focus areas include Education, with emphasis on literacy, early childhood development, and high school readiness and graduation; Health Care, prioritizing preventative care and supportive health services; and Human Services, covering essentials such as food, shelter, and safety to ensure the wellbeing of children and their families.
