The Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society aims to foster academia and industry-based research and development of oligonucleotide therapeutics. The society envisions a new era of oligonucleotide drugs that vastly impacts therapeutic modalities, much like antibodies have revolutionized human therapeutics.
The OTS Lifetime Achievement Award is designed to honor individuals who have shown a deep and lasting commitment to the field of oligonucleotide therapeutics. This recognition is awarded to those who have made exceptional contributions to the education, research, and therapeutic application within this realm. Specifically, the award targets individuals with significant scientific achievements in oligonucleotide medicine, exceptional publications, leadership roles, and/or mentorship contributions over decades. The recipient of this award is bestowed with a $2,500 USD prize, complimentary registration to the OTS Annual Meeting, an opportunity to formally receive the award and deliver a keynote address at the meeting.
