The Polaris Foundation's grant program supports initiatives that align with several specific causes: increasing youth awareness of safe riding practices, aiding in the development of vibrant communities, promoting responsible use of trails and environmental conservation, and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts in both the workplace and wider society. Priority is given to requests from organizations located in communities where Polaris has manufacturing and distribution centers, including Medina, Plymouth, Roseau, Wyoming (MN), Huntsville (AL), Milford, Spirit Lake (IA), Osceola (WI), Wilmington (OH), Vermillion, and Spearfish (SD).
