Sonnentag Foundation Grant

The Sonnentag Foundation is dedicated to supporting organizations within the communities where County Materials Corporation and its affiliates operate. Its mission centers on aiding groups that assist in hunger and homelessness support, service members and veterans support, sexual abuse and domestic assault services, and mentoring and skills building.

The grant program from the Sonnentag Foundation focuses on supporting community-led, self-help organizations that directly benefit low-income, underprivileged, and needy individuals, including homeless Americans and veterans. It seeks to support efforts in four main areas: Hunger and Homelessness, where the emphasis is on aiding those who are most vulnerable; Service Members and Veterans Support, focusing on empowering veterans and treating military personnel with the respect and dignity they deserve; Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, aiming to help survivors heal and reclaim joy in their lives; and Mentoring & Skills Building, looking for organizations that provide career and workforce readiness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, academic help, recreation, life skills training, STEM, and youth mentorship.
