In support of America's foreign policy, the U.S. Agency for International Development leads the U.S. Government's international development and disaster assistance through partnerships and investments that save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance, and help people emerge from humanitarian crises and progress beyond assistance.
This grant program seeks to fund the scale-up and integration of innovative solutions, known as “Stage 4 innovations,” from the Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) program into wider USAID programming and budgets across Missions/Bureaus/Independent Offices (M/B IOs). These "Stage 4 innovations" are distinguished by their rigorous evidence of impact, exceptionally strong cost-effectiveness, and potential for sustained impact at scale. The goal is to facilitate the uptake of these proven innovations on a larger scale by incorporating them into the broader framework of USAID's global development efforts. Applicants must have an active SAM registration before submitting a full application to ensure their eligibility for a federal award.
