Type of Support

Overview

The purpose of this Program Announcement (PAR) is to support the analytical validation of strong candidate biomarkers for neurological diseases and conditions. The grant focuses on enabling the rigorous validation of analytical methods for biomarker measurements, which includes the assessment of the detection method, its performance characteristics, and the determination of the optimal conditions necessary for achieving reproducibility and accuracy in line with FDA guidelines. This initiative is based on the premise that a candidate biomarker has already been identified, the technology for detection has been developed, and the research and/or clinical need along with the potential context of use has been established.
