The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the nation’s medical research agency — making important discoveries that improve health and save lives.
This grant program is focused on late-stage technology optimization and the sustainable dissemination of technology to the broader biomedical research community. The aim is to support Biomedical Technology Optimization and Dissemination (BTOD) Centers that are at the forefront of both technology development and community engagement within fields relevant to biomedical research. These BTOD projects should align with the mission of the NIGMS and cover biomedical research areas that are considered high priority.
