Type of Support

Overview

The grant program focuses on Home Study (HS) and Post-Release Services (PRS) for unaccompanied children under ORR’s care. HS aims to evaluate a potential sponsor's capability to meet the needs of an unaccompanied child after release. Meanwhile, PRS offers varying levels of support, including virtual check-ins, case management, and intensive home engagements, to these children once released. The program is designed to operate nationwide, prioritizing both high-need and remote areas where sponsors are located, and encourages applications from providers with services that cover nationwide or are located near areas with a high population of unified unaccompanied children and sponsors.
