Overview

The grant aims to fund organizations capable of offering high-quality, child-centered residential care, prioritizing the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children. It targets Residential Treatment Centers (RTCs) that specialize in caring for children with conduct and behavioral issues. Eligible RTC providers must be licensed for Residential Treatment Services in their state and accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) or an equivalent body. The grant focuses on supporting RTCs that provide a highly structured clinical program and can address various mental health needs among children.
