We deliver conservation solutions so agricultural producers can protect natural resources and feed a growing world.
The Delaware Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA) program provides financial support to aid producers in implementing conservation practices, improving water management and irrigation structures, planting trees for windbreaks or water quality, and mitigating risk through diversification or conservation practices like soil erosion control, integrated pest management, or transitioning to organic farming. Available in 16 states where Federal Crop Insurance Program participation is historically low, AMA helps cover up to 75% of the conservation practice costs, with a cap of $50,000 per participant per fiscal year. It also offers higher cost-share rates for historically underserved producers, exempting participants from Highly Erodible Land and Wetland Conservation provisions while adhering to Adjusted Gross Income provisions of the Food Security Act of 1985.
