There is no maximum grant amount, with smaller requests given priority and no cost-sharing required. The grants are categorized into Opportunity and Enterprise types, each with specific usage like training, technical assistance, land development, pollution control, capital for revolving loan funds, distance learning, transportation improvement, economic development, technology-based development, feasibility studies, leadership training, business incubators, and strategic planning. These grants aim to enhance the economic development and sustainability of rural communities.
