Wawa: Local Sponsorships

From Wawa Foundation

The Wawa Foundation is dedicated to extending its support from the local communities it serves to its broader regional footprint across the mid-Atlantic and Florida. The foundation focuses on funding organizations within its operational areas that address three key areas: Health, by saving and improving lives; Hunger, through leading hunger relief efforts; and Everyday Heroes, by supporting those making a difference daily.

Type of Support

Overview

The Local Sponsorships by Wawa focus on three main areas: Health, Hunger, and Heroes. The broad goals include saving and improving lives by providing grants to pediatric hospitals and funding research, leading hunger relief efforts through food donations and financial grants, and showing appreciation to community heroes. This entails supporting life-saving research and care for people in need, improving access to food for the communities, and enhancing the welfare of military, veterans, first responders, and at-risk youth through various support and educational programs.
