Type of Support

Overview

The Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund Grants focus on supporting communities across the U.S. and Canada, particularly where the company is significantly involved. The grants are designed around seven key focus areas: affordable housing, education and youth development, environmental stewardship, human services, civic and cultural growth, workforce development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. These areas frame the company's community support strategy, allowing for targeted assistance reflective of local community needs and priorities. The grant program also opens avenues for funding national or international initiatives on an invitation-only basis, specifically those addressing sustainability in forestry and related sectors, underscoring the importance of sustainable forest management and its contributions to housing, ecosystem improvement, and renewable energy. Applications are accepted year-round, with a review process that happens on an ongoing basis.
