Chelsea Groton Foundation, Inc. was established to support non-profit organizations in the Bank’s Connecticut and Rhode Island market areas through financial grants. Since its inception, the Foundation has focused on responding to community needs, including doubling its grant contributions for emergency relief efforts following the COVID-19 pandemic.
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE MADE ONLINE AND MUST INCLUDE 501(C)(3) STATUS, MISSION STATEMENT, COMPLETE BUDGET FOR PROJECT DESCRIBED, OPERATING BUDGET, AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND FORM 990.
Deadline
GRANT APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED YEAR ROUND. APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED IN MAY AND OCTOBER.
Restrictions
PUBLIC CHARITIES EXEMPT UNDER IRC SECTION 501 (C) (3) AND GOVERNMENTAL UNITS REFERRED TO UNDER IRC SECTION 170 (C) (1). PROGRAMS BENEFITING COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE CHELSEA GROTON BANK ARE GIVEN SPECIAL CONSIDERATION.
