The mission of The Andrew Croft Memorial Fund is to honor the legacy of Colonel Andrew Croft through the advancement of education of young people. It aims to develop their mental, physical, and spiritual capacities to full maturity by supporting their participation in expeditions and scientific research, particularly in the Arctic, and other charitable purposes beneficial to Arctic communities and the effectiveness of Her Majesty’s Constabulary.
The Andrew Croft Memorial Fund grants focus on supporting the personal development of young people aged 16 to 30 through field study, adventure, and physical exertion primarily in the Arctic regions. The Fund’s objectives include fostering education and research opportunities that enable young individuals to participate in Arctic expeditions for scientific purposes, supporting charitable projects beneficial to Arctic inhabitants, and assisting members of Her Majesty’s Constabulary with further education to enhance community effectiveness. The Fund values practical projects that promote cooperation, team spirit, scientific understanding, and leadership qualities through challenges and adventures in unfamiliar settings.
