The Farmington River Initiative for Regional Excellence (FIRE) is dedicated to enriching the educational experiences of students and teachers within the Farmington River School District. The fund supports a broad range of projects aiming to elevate student achievement and community engagement. Specific areas include endeavors that integrate arts into education, foster civic engagement, and raise cultural awareness. Additionally, FIRE is open to grant proposals from a diverse group of applicants including students, educators, administrators, parents, nonprofit organizations, and community members, all with the goal of advancing educational excellence and capacity for achievement in both academic and community settings.
Preference will be accorded to applications that emphasize the use of volunteer participation and that demonstrate alternative methods of backing.
