Connecticut Humanities champions the enduring value of public humanities in our lives and civil society. It aims to inspire storytelling, lifelong learning, informed public dialogue, and civic engagement through grant funding and capacity building, ensuring that the public humanities strengthen communities and enhance the quality of life for all Connecticut's residents.
CT Humanities sponsorships aim to support public humanities events, programs, and opportunities that encourage institutions in Connecticut to explore and promote the value of the humanities in life and civil society. These sponsorships are designed to support activities that align with CTH's strategic goals, focusing on providing visibility and access to audiences not currently reached by its regular grantmaking and initiatives. CTH offers funding up to $2,000 for an organization’s event, seeking marketing visibility and exposure in return, with potential for higher support after prior approval by CTH staff.
