The Dermatology Foundation's mission is to support innovative research, education, and career development in dermatology, enhancing the field and improving patient care.
The Diversity Research Supplement Award (DRSA) offered by the Dermatology Foundation is designed to support the participation of medical students, who are underrepresented in biomedical research, in ongoing dermatology research projects. This award aids in the completion of a full-time research plan over a period of 6 to 12 weeks by providing $5,000 for direct expenses such as travel, lodging, and stipends. The grant aims to bolster diversity and inclusion within the dermatological community by supplementing current research efforts of recent recipients of DF awards with the participation of these students.
