Local Impact Grants by the Duke Energy Foundation offer up to $20,000 for projects focused on vibrant economies, climate resilience, and justice, equity, and inclusion. These grants support workforce development, especially for underrepresented populations, local economic development efforts, educational initiatives in energy and engineering for K-12 students and teachers, environmental conservation and resiliency projects, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives aimed at creating upward mobility and supporting communities transitioning to cleaner energy sources. The grants are available year-round to support these areas.
