Grotto Foundation aims to enhance the educational, financial, physical, and social well-being of individuals and families in Minnesota. It supports effective nonprofit organizations that focus on development in youth, education, community safety, neighborhood development, and mentoring.
The grant program by the Grotto Foundation focuses on backing community-led, asset-based solutions to local challenges. Grants are awarded to organizations that operate within at least three of the following areas: Youth Development, Postsecondary Success, Community Safety & Neighborhood Development, and Mentoring. These organizations must aim to develop personal value systems, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies in youth; support postsecondary credentials that lead to workforce success; foster community safety and development through localization and leadership; or offer mentoring programs to guide individuals towards achieving their full potential.
