Type of Support

Overview

The grant program focuses on providing financial support for start-up expenses, new or special projects, general projects, and general operating costs. Priority is given to public charities within the Town of Buxton, Maine, and its surrounding areas, including schools, fire and police departments, libraries, parks, recreational facilities, churches, religious groups, shelters for children, the homeless, abused persons, museums, and animal shelters. While initially focused on southern Maine, there is an expectation to expand support to charities throughout Maine and potentially to other states, emphasizing the foundation's commitment to a wide range of charitable causes within the framework of its mission.
