Overview

The Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (MSPRF) are designed to support future leaders in mathematics and statistics through participation in postdoctoral research environments that significantly contribute to their scientific development. The program offers two types of awards: Research Fellowship and Research Instructorship, focusing on areas of mathematics and statistics and their applications across various disciplines. These fellowships are individual awards, submitted directly by the applicants to the NSF, and require affiliation with institutions such as higher education institutions, government and national laboratories, nonprofit institutes, museums, and eligible for-profit organizations.
