They value culture, connection, respectful conversations, inclusivity, exposure to diverse expressions of human existence, celebration of shared histories and diverse cultures, engagement, responsiveness to community needs, and fostering purposeful lives.

Type of Support

Overview

Humanities Nebraska offers grants for pre-production aspects of media and website/digital projects through its mini grant process. This includes consultancy on potential funding for such projects. Applicants may be subject to technical reviews by experts, with the opportunity to respond to assessments as part of the application process. Projects that heavily rely on digital formats must have a strong humanities base, be founded on sound scholarship, and provide an interactive user experience. Suitable projects could include humanities-based Internet presentations, such as online exhibitions that feature interactive elements and open dialogue moderated by humanities scholars. Organizational or promotional websites and CD/DVDs are not eligible for funding.
