The Ottauquechee Health Foundation aims to improve the health and well-being of people in need within specific towns it serves. This is achieved through financial aid, community partnerships, educational opportunities, and support for wellness initiatives, focusing on healthcare needs in Barnard, Bridgewater, Hartland, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, Quechee, Reading, and Woodstock.
The Ottauquechee Health Foundation Community Grants program accepts applications on a rolling basis to support health and wellness initiatives in the community that might lack funding otherwise. The program is keen on addressing needs within several specific areas, including mental health and social-emotional gaps, support for town nurse/community care coordinators, food insecurity, and access to health support. Each application is reviewed individually by the Grants Committee.
