Type of Support

Overview

The PLTW Computer Science grant program is designed to empower students in grades 9-12 to become creators of technology, not just consumers. It offers interdisciplinary courses that challenge students with real-world problems, teaching computational thinking and coding skills. The program aims to provide students with in-demand knowledge and skills applicable to any career path. The Duke Energy Foundation has pledged financial support for schools seeking to initiate or expand their PLTW Computer Science programs starting in the next academic year. The effort aligns with the foundation's commitment to community development and education in the realm of computer science.
