Overview

The grant program by RBC Foundation – USA seeks to empower youth, foster arts and culture, improve health, specifically mental well-being among youth, and support human services for economic independence. Specifically, it aims at:

  • Preparing students aged 15-29 for future success through work-integrated learning experiences, addressing skills gaps, and providing education opportunities and mentorships in critical 21st century skills.
  • Supporting early-career artists through the RBC Emerging Artists program and increasing arts access for diverse populations. This includes ongoing sustainable initiatives that provide emerging artists mentorship, training, public performance opportunities, and engagement with the broader community.
  • Directing Health grants exclusively to the RBC Youth Mental Well-being Project, focusing on programs offering services like navigation programs, technology-based solutions for remote mental health care, and other collaborative, results-proven programs.
  • Focusing on human services to foster economic independence through support for organizations providing emergency food, shelter, basic needs, adult literacy, and employment training programs.

Academic, medical, or scientific research
Non-501(c)(3) organizations
Organizations posing a reputational risk to the firm
