  • Must have a Federal Employer Identification Number (for governmental entities)
  • Cannot discriminate based on age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, gender identity, and sexual orientation in employment practices or in policies and procedures concerning services
  • Must meet local, state, and federal regulations related to nondiscrimination, wage and hour laws, workplace safety, licensing, and protection of confidential health care information
  • Must maintain financial records according to generally accepted accounting principles and obtain an annual audit by an independent certified public accountant
