The Foundation was formed with the purposes of sharing Richmond County Savings Bank's financial success with the community, enabling community participation in the bank's growth and profitability. RCSF aims to enhance the quality of life in the communities it serves by supporting charitable organizations in educational, cultural, and health and human services sectors.
Richmond County Savings Foundation prioritizes grants for nonprofit organizations requesting more than $5,000, focusing on three main areas: Signature Projects (by invitation only for distinctive requests), Capital Initiatives (up to $50,000 for projects like construction and renovations that meet certain conditions), and Programmatic Funding (up to $25,000 for initiatives in human services, public benefit, health, education, environment, arts & culture). General support grants of up to $10,000 are reviewed year-round.
