The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) aims to improve health and healthcare for all in the United States. Its mission encompasses enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities, with a notable emphasis on addressing health equity and fostering environments where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
The Research on Diet-Related Health (DRH) program, launched by RWJF in partnership with Komodo Health and managed by Mathematica, is committed to using health claims data to uncover actionable insights into diet-related health and morbidity. This program encourages research that aims to understand the impact of diet on health, improve treatments, and reduce barriers to treatment for diet-related health issues. Selected projects under this initiative will be granted free access to Komodo Health’s Healthcare Map™, focusing on topics that can enhance understanding of diet’s impact on health, and identify ways to improve and make treatment more accessible.
