Targum Shlishi is a philanthropic foundation committed to supporting positive change. It aims to address challenges facing world Jewry by enabling innovative solutions to improve Jewish life globally. With a belief in the power of constructive change, the foundation funds initiatives in education, women’s issues, Israel, Holocaust awareness and education, emphasizing creative problem-solving and the potential for replication to ensure Jewish culture and traditions continue to thrive.
The Targum Shlishi Grant program focuses on supporting projects within four primary areas: Education, Women’s Issues, Israel, and Justice for Nazi War Crimes/Holocaust Education. It looks for innovative projects aimed at improving the quality of Jewish life and capable of generating meaningful, positive change. The foundation values initiatives that are not only creative but also have strong leadership, realistic work plans, and clear, achievable goals. Despite being a small foundation offering modest grants, Targum Shlishi seeks to fund initiatives that might not otherwise attract support, preferring those that can be replicated or have a wide impact.
