The AHRQ Mentored Research Scientist Career Development Awards (K01) program aims to maintain a diverse pool of highly trained scientists equipped to address the Nation's health services research needs. It offers support and protected time for intensive, supervised career development experiences in health services research to individuals with a research doctoral degree. The program is inclusive of those new to health services research training as well as individuals returning from a research hiatus due to personal circumstances.
