Overview

The IDeA-CTR initiative aims to increase the capacity for clinical and translational research in IDeA-eligible states or jurisdictions. Its main goals are to enhance the ability of investigators to secure extramural funding for such research and to provide cooperative agreement support for the development of statewide or interstate regional networks. These networks are intended to support the development or enhancement of infrastructure and human resources for clinical and translational research needs, strengthen research efforts addressing health challenges in IDeA-eligible areas, and foster collaboration within the IDeA-CTR network and with other institutions.
