The U.S. Embassy Kyiv's Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program - EDUCATION is aimed at enhancing Ukraine's educational system to contribute to the country's post-war restoration and development. This initiative seeks to fund small projects by Ukrainian NGOs, in collaboration with education counterparts. The focus is on fostering collaborations between U.S. and Ukrainian institutions, leveraging U.S. expertise for the modernization of Ukraine's education sector, and strengthening U.S.-Ukraine people-to-people ties. The grant prioritizes projects that can yield clear, sustainable outcomes and potential for lasting engagements between the two nations' institutions. Specific areas of interest include: enhancing collaboration between educational institutions, government, and employers to meet labor market demands; developing training opportunities for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) to aid employability; supporting educational reforms addressing war and post-war challenges; and developing civic education programs to foster social cohesion. Each proposal must detail a monitoring and evaluation plan with defined goals and indicators.
