Overview

This grant program aims to support the development of clean and reliable drinking water systems, improve sanitary sewage and solid waste disposal, and enhance storm water drainage in eligible rural areas. The funding can be applied towards the acquisition, construction, or improvement of drinking water infrastructure, sewer systems, solid waste disposal mechanisms, and storm water management facilities. Additional allowable uses include legal and engineering fees, land acquisition, permits, start-up operations and maintenance, interest during construction, and the purchase of facilities to ensure service continuity or enhancement.
