The Alzheimer’s Association aims to lead the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Alzheimer's Association Research Grant to Promote Diversity — New to the Field (AARG-D-NTF) is dedicated to funding investigators who are newcomers to the research fields of Alzheimer's and all dementia. Specifically, it supports those with expertise in areas outside of neurodegenerative research aiming to apply their backgrounds to dementia research. This initiative is designed to increase the number of highly trained investigators from diverse backgrounds, addressing health disparities and advancing research in Alzheimer's and all dementias. The grant offers up to $200,000 over three years to encourage the participation of underrepresented groups in Alzheimer’s research, aiming to foster innovation and accelerate progress in understanding and treating these conditions.
