The grant supports initiatives such as increasing and promoting Community-Initiated Arts projects, supporting community festivals that celebrate cultural diversity, and continuing, expanding, and enhancing informal arts programming in community settings. Funding, which can be up to $10,000, is available for a variety of project types, including performances, residencies/workshops, and festivals. Projects must occur in Tempe between August 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, and can cover expenses like artist fees, supplies, production costs, space rental, and marketing.
