Type of Support

Overview

The Let's Get to Work Fund aims to mitigate transportation barriers that hinder employment opportunities. It is designed to support individuals either entering or already in the workforce who require assistance to secure reliable and safe transportation. The grant facilitates this by enabling applicant agencies to allocate funds toward transportation-related expenses, emphasizing direct support for those in need to improve their job access. The program is backed by contributions from the CFO, David and Stacey O’Reilly, the O’Reilly Charity Golf Classic Fund, Bass Pro Shops, the Musgrave Foundation, and private donors. Each agency can request up to $10,000 initially, with potential for additional funding upon substantial use of the prior grant, maintaining a focus on sustainability and continuous support for transportation needs related to employment.
