Overview

The Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network (WIN) focuses on creating a sustainable future for those in the Saginaw Bay watershed area by supporting projects that meld economic, environmental, and social needs. WIN aims to develop a unified identity for the watershed as a sustainable community, promoting sustainability by connecting people, resources, organizations, and programs. It encourages projects that provide a healthy environment, conserve resources, blend economic prosperity with ecology, use land effectively, and constantly refine their vision. Grants target agriculture and pollution prevention, communication, land use, water resources, and wildlife stewardship, prioritizing proposals that promote partnerships, balance focus, foster excellence, can be used as pilot or demonstration projects, and align with WIN's vision, mission, and principles.
