The Dignity for All: LGBTQI+ Assistance Program, led by a consortium of six human rights and LGBTQI+ organizations, aims to support the LGBTQI+ movements through rapid-response financial assistance for at-risk individuals and CSOs, project funding for timely initiatives, and safety and security trainings. This initiative is designed to bolster efforts that advance LGBTQI+ rights and protect activists and organizations from threats.
SOAR Grants, part of the Dignity for All program, are intended for short-term projects that confront urgent threats or seize immediate opportunities to further LGBTQI+ rights. Funding is aimed at initiatives planned to last less than 6 months, which can include security workshops, strategic media engagement, legal analysis, and dialogues with local leaders to safeguard LGBTQI+ communities. These grants cannot be used for core operations or ongoing programmatic activities, focusing instead on urgent, impactful actions in response to emerging threats or opportunities.
