Andersen Foundation Legacy Grants

The Elmer L. & Eleanor J. Andersen Foundation aims to improve quality of life through family grantmaking, honoring the founders' legacy, and investing in social change.

Type of Support

Overview

The Andersen Foundation Legacy Grants program focuses on supporting organizations within arts and humanities, communications, education, the environment, human services, and libraries. Reflecting the diverse interests of its founders, this program has evolved over the years to include a broad scope of giving but has now narrowed to focus on a few promising organizations within these traditional areas. It is the only grant area of the Foundation that accepts unsolicited grant proposals, demonstrating the Foundation's ongoing commitment to honor the legacy of Elmer L. and Eleanor J. Andersen.
