Overview

The grant program by the Four County Community Foundation aims to support progressive ideas and programs in education, health, community development, and youth and adult services. Grants are available to nonprofit organizations, public schools, and governmental agencies for a wide range of charitable purposes within the covered communities, including northern Macomb County. Special emphasis is placed on projects that promote the health and well-being of seniors and youth (including health, nutrition, family counseling, and smoking/vaping prevention), educational projects in classrooms and in the field, and youth services that address specific challenges identified in a Needs Assessment Survey. They also offer the GRANT TANK program, providing grants for student-written/driven projects benefiting youth, prioritizing initiatives that encourage young people's involvement in self-improvement and community and school enhancement.
