The Dissertation Year Fellowships are designed to support historical scholarship about Harry S. Truman’s public career or the Truman era, aiming to free doctoral students from teaching or other employment to focus on completing their dissertations. The program provides up to $20,000 with a maximum of two grants awarded annually.
